If in Zadar then have a look at the wells but walk into the park behind and walk to the sea facing wall and looking over you will see a very pretty harbour.

Not a lot here just a small square with five disused water wells frankly that is it although there is a small tower adjacent to the square

These 5 wells are close to the city gate, a nice square with restaurant and shops, and a park. Nice to stroll by if you are in the old city center of Zadar, but further than that I was not impressed to be honest.

...and so were we, several millennia afterwards. It is so interesting to walk far above the ground now where the ancients retrieved drinking water.

It is nothing spectacular but is a nice little square that is worth a visit & a photo while you are wandering around the old town. There is also a park & some cafes in the area.
