I was hoping this place would have a bit more but I was left a bit disappointed. We paid an entry fee to go in and there wasn't any information in English about the history of the cathedral at all so didn't learn a lot. There isn't a lot to look at either.

This is a short drive out of Zadar and well worth the stop. The signs to the Center are easy to follow, and there is parking outside the cathedral. The bells at an adjacent church peal often and loudly. I highly recommend this site.

Easy to reach, it gives the feeling of the local culture and history. Very popular place with the tourists. Entrance was not free

A Beautiful church in this quiet Sibenik town. Easy to locate in the old town. We are lucky to visit in the low season afternoon.

We visited the Cathedral of St. James in Šibenik at the end of our tour of Krka National Park and Šibenik with Portal Tours. This beautiful cathedral is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. It's located in the Square of the Croatian Republic, just a block from the waterfront. Construction of the cathedral took more than a century... More

Another Game of Thrones set - the cathedral is small and beautiful, but was going through renovation when i was there. I particularly liked the Baptistry chamber. Entrance fee: 15 kn

Unlike many other coastal cities in Croatia, Šibernik has no Roman heritage; it was built a thousand years ago by the Croatian kings. Our principal destination was the famous 15th century Cathedral of St. James, situated in Trg Republike Hvratske (Square of the Croatian Republic). Like most of the old Gothic cathedrals, this World Heritage site took a century to... More

If you have occasion for visiting the city of Sibenik in Croatia, you must first visit the Cathedral of St. James, which is located in the center of the old city. This is good that this historical monument is under UNESCO protection
