Piece of Poland

Adam Mickiewicz is a heart of Poland history and tradition. This statue is one of the points in Lvov and it tells: Poland was here for 500 years and you will not change it...

The Adam Mitskewich Monument is situated in the center of Lviv on Mitskevycha Square. It was opened on 1904 and from that time many people make an appointment "near Mitskevycha". It is charming because of monument composiot of poet and "winged genius."

Basically it is a statue of a Polish poet. The square itself is nice and the statue is as well. Other than that, meh.

A nice tall monument to a famous Polish author. The monument itself is in the middle of the street and not much else to see

What Mecca is to Muslims, Mickiewich minument is to Poles, coming with Wilted Polish flowers. Other, more hip Poles prefer to party at Lviv's nightclubs till 5 am.

A nice enough statue and monument but i would only visit if you are in the area. It's not far from the opera house.

It is one of the most beautiful monuments in Ukraine. It reminds people that Lviv was a Polish city most time of its history and presents one of the best Polish poets.
