Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very odd place. Never seen such grumpy women in my life. Was it my lack of language skills? No English and no interest. Just pay and go, find your own way. No interpretive signs, just an interesting warren of rooms, stairs, dimly lit artefacts and no other tourists when I was there.

This could be so much more interesting with a few signs explaining things...

We have a pharmacy museum in Lithuania and not to see similar place in Lviv it would be a shame.
So many interesting old items, beautiful little yard, mysteriuos undergrounds of this museum and old drug store.
Museum is not big so don't be afraid that irt will take too much time. Worth to see.

Pharmacy museum was included to our subterranean of Lviv tour. So we had a guide and it was very helpful! Without guide can be boring.

This small working pharmacy is like a throw back to past times. There're so many pharmacy historical memorabilia items on display to look at, it's sometimes hard to remember that it's a "real pharmacy" too.

What can I say. It was interesting and had an atmosphere that evoked the dark days of pharmacy that had one foot in science and the other foot in medieval hocus pocus. Yet the kids loved it, and the adults enjoyed the experience. And the cost of admission was de minimis.

It's small. Very small. And it's also a normal pharmacy as well so expect some glances from the people working there as you take your pictures of the relics.

For 20 hryvnia (cash only) it’s cheap. You look at two older rooms lined with older apothecary formulations in bottles, herbs and tools. Some have English translations but an overall English explanation of the particular room would be even more helpful. There are Ukrainian tours going on and it would be great to have an English version. There’s also a smaller, older room at the top of some stairs which I assume was where the apothecary lived but again, no explanations offered in English. As I write about the drug industry as a healthcare journalist, I find these types of museums interesting but not for everyone.

Situated in old town, easily accessible, with a small entrance fee, and very interesting and unique place. I think it's worth seeing.

This museum is part of the walking tour of the Old City provided by InLviv. It's a worthwhile stop, but also dispensable if your time is limited. Lots of old apothecary articles & furnishings. Probably would be of most interest to people with medical backgrounds of some sort.
