Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The river that flows along the northern side of the old town. You can see it when you walk along the city walls or if you use the North Gate. An ordinary river like thousands of other rivers in this world. The water is clear, you can see the fish swimming.

The waterway itself isn't impressive. The surrounding walls and mountains are.

I like the river gate, but its not really for the river.

We had the view of the river from our Airbnb, and loved both the sunrise and sunset. The buildings on the banks made it look even better!

Beautiful walk around the bay or take a boat ride. Loved it. Lovely when the sun shines and to see the glow of the river. Either suggest walking around the outskirts of the old town or inside the city walls. Or do both to appreciate the different views from near and far.

The northern side of the Kotor walls is built along the banks of the small river Scurda, which served as a natural defensive defence. The river is clear, with soft green waters. Higher than the city, it creates small waterfalls and canyon, making it a beautiful choice for walking and river Things to do.
