I could sit and look at this bay for hours. Cradled in between mountains, your eyes just can’t take in everything ... the light changes and you get a different view ... it’s simply stunning.

If you are travelling with a group of friends hire a small boat with a captain and get him to take you a quiet area away from the other boats and beaches. Then go swimming in the crystal clear water. It is an amazing experience.

The outstanding natural beauty of the place has you standing around staring up at the mountains, or across the wonderfully calm bay amazed at the vistas. The area is a stop on most mediterranean cruises these days, but don't let that put you off. The...More

We had a great 3 day visit to Kotor and immediately surrounding area and would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to visit somewhere a bit different, still relatively unspoilt, with character and history.

Kotor Bay can be explored by boat, car/taxi or bus. Boat trips to Perast available from the quayside from 15 Euros, relaxing and good value for 2.5 hours. Many taxi drivers offering tours, I did not take one so cannot say how good they are....More

So picturesque! I loved the mountains covered in mist and the water that looked like glass. Such a special place.
