Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located in the Flour Square, it was once declared the most beautiful palace in Kotor but time has taken its toll. Now it looks very badly in need of any efforts to remove the black discoloration that covers its facade.

It was built after the 1667 earthquake. The family coat of arms located above the entry is flanked by angels. The balconies make it quite distinct.

This palace has two different balcony levels, each decorated in different style of railing. The palace is now a private residence and not open to the public, and therefore only facade able to be seen like many of the other buildings in the towm. However the history behind this and the other buildings of the aristocratic families is very interesting.

This building/palace dominates the square, with its entrance/portal and terrace. It catches your eye. We love buildings that have had a little bit of thought that has been put in the design/architecture.

I was staying in the hotel opposite this building. It has a lot of history and all groups stop there. There is a nice restaurant in the courtyard out the front. You cannot enter.

Situated in the Flour square of the Old city, you cannot miss it. This palace is a bit run down looking, but beautiful all the same. It has balconies and architecture that is a combination of Baroque and Renaissance style. It is a heritage structure now and a private family now lives there. We are not allowed inside.

A real Venetian palace of 17th century with elegant balconies. It is not bright-coloured, but bears a mood of a true antiquity and a seal of time.

When wandering the streets and back alleys of Old Town Kotor you will likely come across the Pima Family Palace.

Nothing extravagant but the gate across the entrance makes you wonder what went on in the Palace

Beautiful building, full of history I suppose but living in a sad present. Totally neglected, having a ugly black color, with doors closed not smiling at all to the people interested. It’s a pity.

The architecture is worth a look and structure of the building. You can't go inside from what I could see but stop by when exploring the old town.
