Bekim was a fantastic guide for our first time in Kosovo. Knowledgeable, patient, funny, and accommodating, he diligently drove us to Pristina, Prizren, and Peja on a multi-day tour:
1. He picked us up on time from the Kosovo/Macedonia border and drove us to Gracanica Monastery. We had a great experience admiring the frescos and talking with the locals.
2. Took us then to Pristina where he showed us all the main sights and the history of Kosovo. As a curator for one of the museums there we were able to get in for free. He also helped us schedule a COVID-19 test for our trip to Serbia.
3. Next day, he gave us a tour of Prizren and showed us some beautiful churches and mosques there. That same day he drove us towards Peja where we visited several beautiful monasteries and historical sites. It was clear that Bekim had a deep network in Kosovo as it seemed like he knew everybody there!
4. During our last day, he drove us to the Montenegro/Kosovo border where he patiently waited with us to meet our next guide. Due to a delay we had to wait longer than anticipated, so my friend and I really appreciated his flexibility!
Our only regret was not staying in Kosovo longer. I highly recommend Bekim for your visit to Kosovo!

Bekim was great! We communicated easily in advance on WhatsApp and Bekim delivered on both days of tours I selected based on his input. I found him passionate, well informed and very interesting to both speak with, learn from and debate. He was very diligent, took photos and sent them to me, and helped me along the way. If only all guides were like Bekim! Definitely recommended highly. Kosovo is a fascinating place to get under the skin of!

I have been on two trips with Bekim, the first was a guided tour of Pristina town which was absolutely amazing. As well as showing us all the key sites and giving us all the information, Bekim injected so much passion into his tour. It's so clear that he loves his job and this country. The Museum of Kosovo, where he works, is a real hidden gem and certainly worth visiting! The statues of the goddesses are so unusual and beautiful. Bekim was so patient with answering every question I had and giving me a well considered and impartial answer.
My second trip with Bekim was down to Tirana and he was so willing to help curate my trip, stopping for fish at a beautiful laguna, seeing the home of Skandabeg in Kruje and finally seeing some of the fascinating museums in Tirana. Bekim is so flexible and knowledgable. I loved going to the ethnographic museum in Kruje - and loved seeing how much he loved it too!

We stayed in Kosovo for 7 days. Bekim was a wonderful tour guide. He was professional, expert, kind and fun guy. He was one of the main reasons we loved and enjoyed Kosovo. He took us tours for five days all over Kosovo. He was always on time and very helpful. He had a really excellent knowledge in all places we went to or passed by.
He took us to medical Lab to perform COVID test and returned to the lab to collect hard copies of test. He advised us to the best restaurants that serves best local foods. Also he used to take professional photos for us during tours.
I strongly recommend him as a tour guide and we really loved Kosovo because of his kindness and the wonderful places he took us to.

Wow. Five is just not enough for Bekhim but I’ll stick to five. He is an absolutely amazing amazing amazing guide! He is kind, hospitable, humble and wants u to be happy. He won’t be pleased if you don’t walk away happy. His knowledge was absolutely amazing. What I adored about him was he was AUTHENTIC! Meaning he did not sound as if he was memorizing a script and regurgitating it!! I’ve had so many tour guides who won’t shut the hell up and feel as if they need to swamp you with info. He was the opposite. He told u the information but in a way that you felt was genuine. His car was comfortable and he was so friendly. If Bekhim isn’t the best guide in The Balkans if not Europe then I don’t know who is. Whatever you want he can make it happen. I am building a travel business oriented toward Balkan adventure and I would feel very comfortable sending clients to him. Also. His English is impeccable!! You can’t go wrong with Bekhim. Faleminderit Bekhim 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🇦🇱🇽🇰

Highly recommend Bekim. We were referred to Bekim by friends in Kosovo. He did not disappoint. We took four trips with him and feel like we left Kosovo with a real understanding of the country and it’s people. His knowledge of the history of the region is superb and he makes it interesting. And he’s a very nice guy. Great for American travelers as he speaks excellent English.

Kosovo is beautiful and it’s also complex. A long and complicated history weave through the centuries. More recently, the history of the last 20+ years is very intricate and to fully understand you need a local. Here comes Bekim to the rescue, first off he is a wonderful person so spending an entire day with him is fantastic and in our case we spent two, as we took two different tours. Pristina Cultural and Historical Tour and the Mitrovica Tour, both we highly recommend. Now getting back to Bekim, he has extensive knowledge of the history and because he was old enough through the 90s you’ll get first hand knowledge of what it was like to grow up in Kosovo during incredibly difficult times. No matter how long you stay in Kosovo, don’t wander around on your own thinking you don’t need a guide, do yourself a favour and book a tour- you will not regret it.

Bekim was a terrific guide for a walking tour of central Pristina. He accommodated me on short notice and designed a tour that perfectly fit my schedule, needs, and location (even managing to work in some indoor sightseeing just when it started to rain). Highly recommended, and I hope to come back for a longer tour in the future!

I spent 3 days exploring Kosovo with Bekim and two friends.
We had such a great time: Bekim truly is the best guide you could wish for: warm, friendly, easy going, accommodating, open minded and fluent in English. It felt like driving around with a local friend. He studied anthropology and currently works at the ethnographic museum of Prishtina, therefore he knows a lot about the region’s history (ancient and recent) culture and traditions. He easily adapts to your interests and needs so forget about mainstream and standard holiday packages, you will get your own customised tour. On top of this he also gave us some great tips on local restaurants, which is always appreciated. Last but not least, don’t limit yourself to visit only Prishtina, Kosovo has more to offer: the historical towns of Prizren and Djakova, pristine nature and adventurous hiking trails, beautiful mosques and orthodox monasteries, interesting war memorials and great food!

I had the combined day tour in Pristina and Prizren and this tour did not disappoint at all, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Bekim is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and a very helpful guide and the whole 7 hour tour felt as though it had flown by in less than an hour. I learned so much about Kosovo during this tour. I highly recommend Kosovo Local Guide.
