Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

USA President Bill Clinton is a national hero in Kosovo. Locals speak highly of him and they should. He has a boulevard named after him and a fantastic statue in his honor. President Clinton was hear in Prishtina in 2009 addressing Kosovars. Kosovars are so friendly and when locals found out President Clinton was my Commander in Chief, they wanted to hear President Clinton stories. Very respectful!

I really had no idea the work Clinton did in this Nation country of Kosovo. He definitely is well revered in this city, as so all the Americans who step foot in it. The memorial is really nice, with an American flag next to it, and a plaque. They even have a Hillary Clinton store right next to it...go figure! Lol

Everyone knows where this statue is so you don’t need a map just ask. Obviously very important to Kosovo due to Clinton positive impact there. Frankly I did not know anything about this until I visited.
In Pristina it’s the first place to go.

Pristina is a city in Kosovo with ugly buildings.

The statue of Bill Clinton was a 'reward' from the extremist Albanians for bombarding and murdering many innocent Serbian people in Servia and Kosovo...

“I will always be proud of the fact that I happened to be the president of the United States when you needed someone to stand up and say no more ethnic cleansing, no more people running out of their homes, no more killing innocent civilians, there’s got to be another way,” - Bill Clinton

When most of the world was in denial over the genocide that Serbia was committing on European soil, Clinton took the necessary measures to stop it in Kosovo. One of the most significant events which led to victory in the Kosovo revolution and Kosovo becoming the independent sovereign nation it is today.
The free people of Kosovo have since honored Clinton with a statue that anchors the corner of the street also named after him, Bill Clinton Boulevard.
Standing at the foot of the statue, in the middle of the modern day free nation of Kosovo's capital city Pristina, its a sobering reminder of both the cost of liberty and the duty to secure it regardless for who and where it needs to be done in the world.

Why on earth Bill Clinton? OK, I had to google it myself and the reason is OK. But still it is weird to see the statue of an american president on an intersection, flags, picture, and all.

In the 1990s, Clinton intervened in the Kosovo/Serbia war, without any incentive for the US to do so. The Kosovars are still grateful for this.

It's Bill Clinton, in Kosovo; what more can i say. I guess I have to say more since there is a 100 character minimum - well let me just say that it is exceptionally exceptional.

A huge statue of former president of USA Bill Clinton, 10 minutes walking distance from the boulevard in Pristina, Kosova.
This statue is a thankful sign from Kosovan people to Clinton for his part of liberation of Kosovo from Serbian forces.
