Based on the other good tips from Tripadvisor and google maps, we walked to the mountain from the old town and it took about 1,5 hours one directiob. We left pretty early at 4.30 am and were back at the apartment at 8.30 am. We took photos, ate snacks at the top and visited a grocery store at our way... More

Good view from the top but also worth reflecting on why, after the war, the cross was erected to tower over the people of Mostar...

I did walk from the city and found it fairly easy, until you get to the switchbacks up the mountain. Once at the too the views are great, but it can be very windy.

It's possible to walk to the top of the cross from the old bridge in Mostar. Simply look up directions on google maps. The first third of the walk is through the city, and is easy. The second third of the walk is along a highway that winds up the mountainside, and can be a little dangerous depending on how... More

You can see from above every bridge in the city. It is spectacular to see The Old Bridge from bird view. They should put some benches or even build some cafe bar where you can sit down and enjoy the view.

Really cool view from the top, we walked to the south to an old sniper shelter and you can see the old bridge from there. Apparently there are potential land mines so didn't stray from the track. Pretty cold up the top so take a jumper! You can probably do it in a tour of the area or if you... More

Great views all around . Would definitely recommend a visit. We were lucky that the owner of the rooms we were staying at took us for a ride up the hill .He pointed out lots of different things to us which made it all the more interesting.

First and foremost, we believe its important to have a car before you attempt to get up to Hum Mountain! The view from the top was really great and we were there during sunset which made the experience even more beautiful. The drive up, however, might be difficult as the tracks were two-way tracks which seemed to be wide enough... More

You will need a car but once you are at the top of the mountain the views are worth the drive. You will see the big cross on the top and experience the peace and quiet of silence and the beautiful views of Mostar and the mountains.

I'd say the most beautiful view to Mostar in comparison to all other hills that surround the city. If you're keen getting to the top, don't go straight uphill, but ask locals to show you the road that goes to the top. On the top there is one of the biggest crosses in the world, it's 37 meters high.
