About
Our region encompasses the area south of Sarajevo and north of Dubrovnik. It is a significant region of the Balkans and truly embodies the 'east meets west' in its layers of culture, history and breathtaking natural beauty. We offer unique private day tours, with a personal touch, lead by proffesional tourist guides. The point of difference with Herzeg Day Tours is the 'off-the- tourist -track 'experience, safely taking you to places that are often 'left out' of the tourist info books, and offering you a real close-up experience with the environment. You will meet the person that has prepared the delicious authentic delicacies you will devour, taste wild pomegranates straight off the tree, and find hidden delights as we trek our way through the Herzegovinian wilderness. Herzeg Day Tours all-in-one tours combine elements of adventure, social and cultural experiences to showcase the very best of Bosnia and Herzegovina - from the beauty and energy of our iconic Old Bridge in Mostar. Discover the secrets of Herzegovina just a short distance from Split or Dubrovnik, explore the capital Sarajevo, immerse yourself into the marvelous unspoiled nature of Dinaric Alps. Herzeg Day Tours takes you on outdoor tours to amazing places that you have been eager to explore but unable to get to. All this with guides who know the area's secrets, its history and tales, and who have a genuine interest in showcasing our beautiful Bosnian&Herzegovinian region.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I did two outings with Ćamil: a day hike to Prenj and the wine route. I met a competent guide, well informed, calm and especially nice person. Communication was easy. Ćamil taught me a lot about beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina and I will not hesitate to book with him again.

I took two transfer tours with the owner Ćamil - from Dubrovnik to Mostar (with stops in Stolac, Pocitelj and Blagaj), and from Mostar to Sarajevo (with stops in Jablanica and Konjic, including Tito’s Bunker).

Communication was clear and prompt. Ćamil was very helpful in looking at my plans and working with me to figure out what would or wouldn’t work.

The tours themselves were delightful, and I got to see a lot of Herzegovina in a fuss-free way. Ćamil is extremely knowledgeable and happy to share more about the country. It felt more like I was travelling with a friend more than taking a tour.

The cost is also reasonable considering the distance covered, and the convenience of getting from one place to another while seeing some amazing sights along the way.

#ProTip: A stop at Jablanica for the lamb if you’re a lamb lover is an absolute MUST.

There aren’t enough words to say how pleased and thankful I am with finding Herzeg Day tours. As someone who is part of the Bosnian Diaspora, I wanted to know more about my country, region, and the city that I come from(Mostar). Ćamil is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, history comes alive when you go on tours with him. As someone who is a lover of history, listening to him tell the history and stories was a delight. This is the only tour group in Herzegovina that I use and will only ever use. From the beginning to the end, you don’t feel like you’re with just a guide, but a friend. Thank you so much for the most wonderful experience Ćamil. I will always use his services when I’m in town, thank you again. I will always refer people to use your services whenever they ask about c ok ing to BiH and wanting the Herzegovina experience

There are day tours that are pleasant and information and then there are day tours that are so meaningful that they stick with you. My husband and I had the latter, seeing Mostar and discovering its past, its potential and its challenges through the eyes and experiences of a man who has lived through his country worst nightmare and has a clear vision for its future. It was a truly extraordinary experience that we highly, highly recommend.

I contacted Camil after seeing the Herzeg website online and wanted to see about the Via Ferrata tour. He was super informative and planned out our whole morning in his email.
We were so glad we booked with Camil. He was such a nice guy and very knowledgeable about climbing. He also had a wealth of knowlede about the area as well as the history of Bosnia.
We had such a great day with him. If you're going to be near Mostar definitely book a tour with him. He will adapt any tour to meet your schedule and needs. We are so happy we found him!
