It's a pleasant church with a nice garden, but overall fairly similar to most of the other Orthodox churches around this part of the world. Apparently it's the biggest one in Plovdiv, but not much compared to the main cathedral in Sofia. There are several...More

This church is in Plovdiv's old town. It has an unusual wooden bell tower and lovely murals inside as well in the portico. It is interesting that the design of this church is similar to the medieval church of St Stephen in Nesebar.

One of the most beautiful churches in Plovdiv city. In the center of it. It is renovated, the yard is cosy and it's always good to light a candle and pray.

Differently than other churches in Bulgaria, this one is well illuminated in a way that you can see the nice fresco paintings. The priest is nice and he gave us the permission to take some pictures and to attend a baptism.
