Visited the Cathedral with my Mum during our holiday and it was one of the things we looked up before arriving for something we wanted to visit. We certainly were not disappointed, it was not the biggest cathedral but the inside is absolutely beautiful. The...More

The cathedral is a beautiful and impressive building, nicely situated in the city centre of Varna. Entering the cathedral is for free, but it doesn't provide any information in English.

Built in the late 1800s to thank Russia for liberating Bulgaria, this cathedral is not particularly impressive, but the wooden iconostasis is beautiful, and the interior is worth at least a quick glance.

I visited this cathedral with my friend. Outside it looks very bland. However inside it is just beautiful. The domes have been painted with two colours of blue with stars on them. The murals inside are just beautiful. Apparently they have been recently restored and...More

From the outside the walls look pretty shabby and there are beggars and people trying to sell you things and taxi drivers convincing you to take a taxi somewhere you don't want to go! But once inside (free entry) it is beautiful. The ceilings were...More
