We have been on a family trip and arrived to the park with three children (6.5, 8.5, 13), two elder kids (44, 46). Everything was perfect: the wonderful location in the middle of the green forest, the facilities of various grade of difficulty adapted to challenge public of all ages, the very kind young staff who instructed us with great attention to safety. Warmly recommended!!!…

I went there with my kids (aged 10, 14, and 16) during a four day trip to Sibiu. We took the bus (no 22) at 11 am from Sibiu central train station. When we exited the town we were faced with a beautiful trip that took us through a scenic small town (Rasinari). It seemed like a good place to start some hiking trips with backpacks. Afterwards we climbed the mountain but the driver was good and experienced and we could enjoy the many views. The trip took around 45 min. We have some really nice tree climbing sites in Denmark as well so our expectations were quite high. And we were NOT disappointed! First of all we were met by some very friendly and service minded young guys that helped us with the gear and instructions. Their English was sufficiently to communicate the safety regulations and he waited patiently for me to translate it to my youngest kid. He took us through a small section which were used for the instruction of the safety and equipment. It was really good that you can try the equipment on the ground under supervision - especially when you have kids. Afterward he explained the many routes and then we started climbing! As expected there are routes with different levels of difficulty. Two yellow routes, two green routes, one blue, on red, one black, and four different zip lines. The latter was a combination of a series of zip lines taking you higher and longer for each level. We skipped the yellow routes (for small children and beginners) by recommendation from the guide. Then we took the greens, the blue, and the red. The black route seemed a bit too much for the kids and an old bloke like me :-). My youngest kid (10) managed them all, but she is also strong and flexible (she is an artistic gymnast). The two others are used to hard work as well (another artistic gymnast and a dedicated football player) and that helped them a lot. Both in terms of physical performance but also mentally (they WANTED to press on and succeed). For not so well trained kids and adults there are plenty of challenges in both the blue and red routes. But give it a try - it is really funny and challenging. The zip lines are not so challenging in terms of climbing but they are a lot of fun and you get to fly between the trees high above the ground. There is a small castle play ground for smaller kids, two trampolines, and a small field with some toys (a goal, nets, and bows). You can also sit outside and enjoy some relaxing moments in between the routes. The security was as it should be but of course the responsibility of a safe climbing is your own. There is a small shop where you can buys beverages, ice cream, chips and pastries. No food is available. There are toilets at the park as well. Notice that they do not take credit cards or Euros. That park definitely deserves five stars for a combination of location in the mountains, a large variety of routes with different level of difficulty, many hours of fun, high level of security, and really friendly and service minded staff. …
