So much history, and amazing views from the high point. This fortress is a nice way to spend an hour or two exploring the ruins and having a wander around.
It is partially restored, but definitely not commercialised.

It is being renovated right now so viewing was restricted. However it has the typical pattern of layers of small rooms for the local community during invasions. It was much needed as the fortification and it's habitants were burned to the ground by invading Turks!...More
