Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For a Dutchman a bit odd to see a bridge in front of a beach, instead of behind it (more land inward). Anyway the flow of motorized traffic in Egypt is still more of a priority than preservation of nature.

Many tourists from other parts of the country and the wider region seem to like the combination of beach and bridge view. The area as a whole is developed as a tourist hotspot with entertainment, restaurants and bars. There is a fee to access the beach.

Stanley bridge is 400m long and was completed in 2001.

We traveled over the Stanley Bridge several times as we visited different sites around Alexandria during our two week tour of Egypt. The bridge is along the Corniche adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea. It was supposedly built to save the expensive residences along the recessed beach. The bridge was okay but nothing exceptional.

It's touted as one of the key attractions in Alexandria. It's 400 m long and the only thing "iconic" about it are two towers that don't serve an obvious function. It is neither architecturally inspiring nor in any way an engineering marvel. I suspect that the cult status is has is historic: it was built to increase traffic capacity without having to demolish the private beach on the corniche. If I hadn't read about it, I wouldn't have looked at it twice.

love the view and the fresh air, perfect spot for pictures. I recommend walking and seeing the beautiful scenery on the bridge. If you are planning to take a ride on a horse chariot please fixed the price before you take a ride otherwise they will charge you too much.

Was staying in Alexandria and decided to pay a visit to this very famous Alexandria landmark also know as Lovers bridge. Visited both at night and during the day. You need to visit both sides of the bridge to appreciate it as one side overlooks the med and the other side a small cove and beach. definitely worth the visit.

Amazing view for a vibrant city where you can see west and east of Alexandria. You can walk or simply use the fixed seats and sniff the fresh air
