Among the many wonderful sites we visited in Alexandria, was the Royal Jewelry Museum located no more than a 5 minute drive from the Four Seasons hotel. This 2-story palace housing the Jewelry collection of Egypt’s Royal family originally belonged to Princess Fatma El Zahraa. This museum contains precious and invaluable treasures that cannot be found in any other place. it reminds you of the royal age and the luxury at that time. You will go back to the 19th & early 20th centuries when you go through the corridors of this museum that was a palace long time ago. I recommend that it should be visited to anyone that might pass by Alexandria…

Was not on our list but went on a rainy day. The old mansion in which it is housed is beautiful. An entire hallway of stained glass doors that I think were beautiful but they did not have them it - a real pity. Nice collection of jewels but told by some that the collection does not include the really good stuff. …
