Between the high pressure sales people and the crowded street I could have gone without the Medina. The mosque was nice to see, there were a few nice people but it would’ve been nicer to spend the day at the beach.

Its open most of the time seven days a week. Best to visit between 10am and 8pm to be sure as hours are very flexible. Fridays many shops are closed all day or from about 1,
