A must do when in Laos. Sai and his family were absolutely wonderful, it was beyond what we were expecting. The best fish we have ever eaten and the master weaver was so lovely and kind. The performance after lunch was a wonderful surprise. Thank you for the most perfect day! We will never forget.

The most wonderful experience! We visited here tonight and it was beautiful. There were four of us, my husband and I and two children aged 18 and 21. We all loved it! We enjoyed a welcome drink upon arrival and watched the sunset, the view is magnificent. We then experienced a traditional welcome, which was beautiful. Our dinner was authentic and lovely, We enjoyed traditional music. It was a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. We did not feel rushed at any time. I highly recommend this experience. It is a must when visiting Luang Prabang.

Finding a cultural activity that will interest teenage boys can be challenging but our children (ages 16/13) were fully engaged at The Bamboo Experience. The welcome drink to begin the evening watching the sunset over the rice fields was a lovely gesture and our guides were thorough in their explanations of the uses of bamboo in Lao culture. We learned the techniques to create sticky rice and also how to weave a bamboo coaster! The cooking lesson was fun and interactive and we loved eating the wonderful food we created. To finish the evening we were lucky enough to watch a musical demonstration and also have a try of the instrument ourselves. Lastly was some traditional Lao dancing, our sons even had a try! We couldn’t recommend this experience enough and would encourage everyone to spend some of their time in Luang Prabang here. Thanks Si!
