I traveled Aleppo in September 2010 when everything was standing and people were happy. It was the Holy Ramadan month and people were on streets until 4 am. Everyone was smiling and they were really gentle. I have also visited Armenian, Greek and Maronite churches that do not stand anymore. We had talked to the deacon in the Armenian Church... More

I just wonder how this place is now. During my visit, this was one on of most vibrant and unforgettable locales of Aleppo, bustling with traffic and people going about their daily errands. Lots of local shops around the square, the olive stalls with those colorful varieties are wonderful.

its not square like u can imagine square,but its the place that was teching ppl how 2 be the dead of the criminals,its excution square (was) untill now some times...only interesting big watch in the roof of the square building...
