Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Vank Cathedral is one of the most beautiful and largest churches in the Jolfa vicinity of Esfahan. Ticket entrance costs 2 mln rial and you get access also to 2 museums which are very interesting. Reserve minimum 1 hour for whole area.

Make sure you visit the museum and see the writing on a hair under a microscope. Although the actual church is pretty small but lots of wonderful paintings on the wall. You really need 4 days for Isfahan.

The Holy Savior Cathedral or the Church of Saintly Sisters is widely known as Vank Cathedral. It is an Armenian church, located in the New Julfa district in the center of Isfahan. The name “Vank” derives from the Armenian word “monastery”. Due to its outstanding interior, Vank Cathedral is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Isfahan.

Each painting on the wall has a story to tell. You can read all stories through looking on the walls. There is also a nice museum that you can know about history.

Vank cathedral is a very different church compare to those in Europe. It has been blended perfectly to the architectural style of Iran. A very nice spot to visit when in Isfahan

A unique cathedral mix of Persian art and typical art commonly used inside cathedrals and churches. I liked the combination of this in its architecture and decoration. The paintings inside the cathedral are unique and beautiful. It is a must-see place in Isfahan. The memorial part for the Armenians is heart-touching.
