    Lots of restaurants and shops
I stayed in an air bnb near here so came here almost every day during my holiday to eat and walk around. It’s a nice street next to the beach filled with restaurants, hotels and shops. Lots of nice outdoor cafes and coffee shops too including Starbucks. There is also a Sephora and Muji further down.

    Walking at JBR
JBR, known as The Walk, is a fantastic spot for group outings. Parking is a challenge with fees in various building lots. Ideal in winter, not so much in summer. Plenty of upscale shops, hotels, and restaurants. Free beach access and WIFI. Hoping for more free parking. Beware of heavy traffic on weekends and holidays. Great for nightlife.

    Bustling area
The Walk is jam packed with food and beverage options, shops and entertainment. It is pleasant in the day, just a short distance from the beach, and becomes very lively after dark. Traffic can be extremely busy so better to get dropped nearby and walk in.

    The best hotel in JBR
The best hotel on JBR, at the reception very attentive, always happy to help, greeted with a smile. Special thanks to Wissam and Karen (the manager on duty), the best personal of the hotel. At breakfast all the waiters are very attentive and work very quickly. Also, nice pool, very quiet, thank you to the lifeguard Supun.

    The best place to stay!
Visited Dubai in May this year and we decided to stay on The Walk -- honestly one of the best decisions I could have made. You have everything on your doorsteps, great restaurants, shops and right on next to the beach. The evening strolls are the best but be careful of the vendors trying to sell you stuff but you get used to that after a while.

JBR for the 8 years we have been coming here could have been so much better. Unfortunately it’s a constant building site which detracts from its charm which is why I gave it an average score.

It is dominated by the building works at the Damac metro end and only gets better when you reach the public beach end. However, that mustn’t stop you coming here and enjoying the promenade with restaurants, shops and street stalls.

At night it lights up and becomes a different place, depending on the time of year eating out is a must along the strip. Great food and people watching is a joy. There are lots of bars to watch sport or just enjoy friends and family company.

I look forward to a promenade when all the building works are complete when this will become even better than it is now.

Hello 307cliver We would like to say thank you for your feedback as we appreciate it dearly. Things will get better in the future of course where all constructions will end where the place will be more magical. We hope to see you again. Thank you

This review is about JBR in general or also known to people as The Walk. Parking is big issue in this location and you need to find all possible available building parking and each comes with its own parking fee, in short no free parking. Its lovely place to go and be in with group of friends, family, office classmates or even a date and the best time is winter time as the weather is cold. Summer might suite some not all. Lots of shops, branded Hotels of all stars, many restaurants to choose from but all with a higher end price. I did not crossways with any budgeted coffeeshop or diner. Recently they have the open beach for visitors and free WIFI. Hope to see free enough parking for the public. At last this place goes crazy with traffic over the weekends and holidays. Its also suitable for night life.

Lots of places to eat to suit all budgets from popular western fast food outlets to Turkish, Indian and Asian restaurants.

Lovely views and well maintained areas with roads always busy with cars and sidewalks with people. I was surprised to get propositioned twice on different nights by prostitues. Not uncommon in any major city of course but perhaps shows how slowly liberal Dubai is becoming despite the perception it’s still a strict reglious ordered country.

The area is busy at all times of the day. When we first arrived to our hotel on the area it was 3am and there were still lots of people walking and driving about.

Nicely built area, but on weekend and public holiday, flooded with large quantities of men in groups who stare. Very uncomfortable. When you do get past that, the food places and extortionate.

The traffic is horrendous too. Unless your hotel close by, plan accordingly.

JBR is one of the most happening place in Dubai. It is worth spending an entire evening over here. The entire stretch is about 1.5 km. On one side there is a beach and on other side high rise towers There are a lot of restaurants over here. Though there are few shops, but stretch is basically not for Dubai standard shopping. The beauty of this place is that 80% of area is for pedestrians and rest for cars. On weekends traffic jam is normal. Alcohol is served only in the bars of hotels like Hilton, Sheraton, Ritz Carlton, Rodas, Ocean View etc. Dubai Marina is just behind it. It is very lively in the evening and on weekends.
Don't miss it !!

This is a vibrant part of Dubai.

There is lots of street art and food and beverage options including hotel restaurants and pop ups.

It sits between JBR Beach and the Marina, which are also both full of great options and activities.

The Walk is one of the most popular spot. It is always full of life. There are plenty of hotels, restaurants, multiplex and entertainment zones. The shopping is much lesser than other parts of Dubai. There is no big mall over here. The bars are only in hotels. The beach is the main attraction. The walking zone is much bigger than the road, therefore the traffic moves very slow specially during weekends. The underground parking is quite big.

This is a lovely environment to just wander around, with lots of interesting things to do and see. Lots of beachside activities for families, including fair ground rides and stalls. Loads of places to eat catering to every type of cuisine imaginable and all price ranges. Has great views of the Palm and Ain Dubai Ferris wheel (which we didn't go on due to it seeming too expensive for what it was).

Nice walk along the seafront, pleasant. You can find many shops and refreshment points. It can also be easily reached by taxi at very low prices. Beware of rush hours where it becomes difficult to find a taxi and you have to deal with some private taxi drivers to get back to the hotel
