About
If you're done exploring the traditional souks, why not visit one of Dubai’s unique shopping destinations: Dragon Mart? Home to over 4,000 wholesale and retail shops, this is one of the largest trading hubs for Chinese products outside of mainland China. Here, you can source for toys, gadgets, household appliances, textiles, garments, homeware, and more at factory prices—try your hand at haggling to get an even better bargain. The next-door and newer Dragon Mart 2 is more of a traditional shopping mall, with a huge entertainment zone that has a grand cinema complex, restaurants, and a state-of-the-art gaming zone. – Tripadvisor

I'll start by saying that two other people in my traveling group made independent forays into Dragon Mart 1 (our hotel was right next door) and had a better experience than I did, but I really disliked this mall. The moment I walked in I was accosted by two different vendors hoping to sell me perfume... I realize this is normal selling behavior for this part of the world, and they certainly weren't doing anything wrong, but it doesn't suit my shopping style at all. So I sped up, but even walking quickly and not making eye contact doesn't deter some of these vendors. And then... well, I couldn't find my way out. Lots of dead ends. Plenty of doors, but they were all emergency exits with crash bars. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the floor plan... and of course, can't slow down to try and get my bearings, or I'll be swarmed by vendors waving watches and cell phones. Impossible to browse at leisure. I finally found a regular door that let me out into the parking lot (opposite side of the VERY long building from my hotel) and it was another half hour before I was able to walk around it and get back on the highway side. That was one long, annoying walk. There were plenty of shoppers and many of them were carrying bags, so the commerce is brisk and people are finding what they want at a price they're happy to pay, but I wouldn't go back in there for any reason.

It is actually in size large, no. of shops are huge and outside appearance is nice! Besides that nothing good in it! When inside it is like an empty place - emptyness of items! The mall is kilometer long, and shops have spread on to a long strip! We were looking for very few items, but had to walk for kilometers to find some quality items. Most of the items are very cheap quality, pavement type products selling by roadside vendors! Hardly you could find some "quality" products! Those vendors are saying very high prices, in fact the same item in 3 shops are totally different 3 prices, so people must bargain otherwise you ended up paying a huge price!
I did not like this Dragon Mart at all, it is just a waste of time going there!

They had no good shops also they had all the fake copies of bags and everything you want as well as they had very cheap things one shouldn’t go for until and unless one has an extra day to waste on these shops buying nothing good. All illegal brand copies were available such has female bags and branded shoes for all. My day was wasted going and visiting such place having a good hype for things but found nothing at all to buy. Not recommended at all.

Dubai has dozens of malls from one of the worlds largest to this curious place. It's a sort of indoor market where you can literally find anything and everything. There's a lot of hawkers inviting you to buy bag's, watches and electrical goods so if you like to shop you need see what's on offer here.

Dragon Mart has items I never knew I needed. I love going there, especially to pick out decoration for my house. I got two beautiful rugs and they’re very budget friendly compared to other furniture stores (if you know how to haggle). I also got so many ceramic vases and other items for the house and they’re so cute! I even got a little kiddy pool for the balcony for the hot weather. It takes a special kind of restraint to go to Dragon Mart and leave empty handed.

This is quite a shopping experience.
Dragon Mart has everything one could ever need, with sections including fake plants, scooters, furniture, lighting, hardware, toys and more. There are loads of bargains to be had.
There are loads of eating options and one could spend hours in the center. There is also a cinema complex in the recently added extension.
Dragon Mart is about 20 minutes from
Downtown Dubai but a totally different experience to Dubai Mall - much more rough and ready and great fun!

I ordered a scoooter online with dragonmart for my 7yo but they sent a wrong and damaged product. So I returned it for refund. Guess what they never refunded my money. Neither I get my product back. Worst experience ever in a city like Dubai. I really really really regret for choosing Dragonmart.

This is a shoppers paradise. It consist of two separate malls across the street from each other. It primarily features Chinese goods of any kind you can imagine. There are many restaurants as well all of which offer great inexpensive food. You can also find imitation high-end bags, scarves, and shoes but you really have to ask to find where they’re located.Initially people would look at you with suspicion, but once they realize you’re a serious buyer you will quickly be ushered to the right store in a separate location inside the mall. If you can dream it you will find it here

yes there is a very good store for such items in dragon mart 1. I'm not sure how to explain to you where exactly it is. I know how to get there only when I'm there! but I would say it is somewhere near the garments section!
