Old City best approached by Boat / Launch or by Dubai Metro. The water front is beautiful by night with glittering lights, but day too has its own beauty. The bazaar has a variety of clothing, shawls, trinkets, spices and many many more. A place...More

This is the cheapest and quickest way to cross the creek in order to visit the old city Deira and the three souks (gold, spice and perfume). The boats are old and tranditional and the place looks like Venice. It is a very relaxing experience...More

You should try this typical way of travelling in Dubai. Mix with locals and tourist and enjoy views over the water. Both during the day and at night.

Taking an Abra from one side to the other is so cheap it's not worth missing out even if it's just to tick it of the list . Just make sure you don't have food as the seagulls will be out to get you

These Boats call Abra in Dubai. It's available behind Temple area in Bur Dubai or from Deira ( Another side of Bur Dubai) but not compatible for Wheel Chair. No problem for infant or toddlers.
