The company employees were great, but on the particular day I went out the weather wasn't great, and I think they should have just made the call and cancelled. I could see on a nice sunny day how this could be fun though. The guide was a bit over critical of the excesses of Dubai. While I agreed with him,... More

Jozef did an awesome job on a 90 minute tour I recently went on. The experience was fun, fast, and filled with lots of amazing sites. Although the ride was bumpy and we had a few folks on the boat who did not feel well, I thought Jozef did a great job of making sure everyone was having a good... More

it was really amazing experience. Little bit cold weather and waves but it made ride more exciting. Captain Nick really experience guy, and told us interesting facts about places we have seen. All day after family was talking only about this ride and emotions they had! Thank you guys.

What a great fun-filled 75 min tour with Josef as our skipper. We were sat at the front of the boat so got rather wet. The waters were fairly choppy so we felt the force on our backs as we crashed back down onto the waves. (So, not suitable for people with dodgy backs, though you do have to sign... More

we had lots of fun, it was a windy day so there were waves and the experience was very "jumpy", its super fun but I wouldnt recommend for children or for elder people. Our guide Tharaka was very kind and always offered to take pics of us and provided fresh water for everyone on the boat

We ended up missing our tour by about five minutes but the staff at Yellow Boats were very accommodating and put us on a later tour. Our skipper Teraka was very knowledgeable and helpful to us. He ended up taking photos for all of us on board. The day was a bit rainy but if was worth the trip. Thanks... More

The experience was amazing and fun as our speed boat glided through the water. It was all worth it availing the 75-minute afternoon package (2:30 pm). It was an on-the-day decision, we booked this trip from a kiosk we saw at the Atlantis Aquaventure compound. We were glad to meet a Filipino attendant who encouraged us to take this trip... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
