Beautiful water show, perfect for all ages and abilities. Can be viewed from the bridge and the railings although it's best to arrive early to get a space.

The fountains run I believe every hour or half hour in the evenings. It is definitely crowded, but they are very beautiful and really well done. What we did was reserve a table with a view at once of the restaurants that look over the fountains, which was the best decision! Not only was the food amazing, but we got... More

Great shows every half hour. Plenty of restaurants around this place, so an excellent combination: dinner with a view.

The water appeared to dance to the music. The show itself only lasted for about 3 minutes (the length of one song).

I have seen many videos of this fountain before, couldn't wait to visit it and let me kids see it in person. it was magical really but very busy at all time. there is no way you can sit down and enjoy it. there are many people standing there blocking the view. my advice you go and get a good... Upon seeing the first fountain show at 6pm, we were slightly underwhelmed. However the shows improved every half hour and the Burj Khalifa also had a light show starting at 7.15pm. They are definitely worth a visit, we watched them while eating a meal but you can also hire a traditional boat to bring you close to them. However you... More

I had the opportunity to see the Fountain in LAS Vegas, which technically Dubai is the same, but the atmosphere in Middle East is SOMETHING !!

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
