A great way to get around and raised from the busy traffic, so you see a lot from a better perspective. Clean, safe and a good way to get around. Simple to use.

I realize their Metro is new compared to those in the US and Europe, but it is sparkling clean, super cheap, and fast and quiet. This is what mass transit should be!

We travelled on the Metro to explore Dubai. I must admit this is the first place I’ve visited that everywhere is so clean. The metro was an experience in itself. We got in a cart that had women/children and men section. Be aware of the...More

The Dubai Metro is efficient and very well organized and easy to navigate. I was able to travel around alone and feel safe. The facilities are clean and well kept. The connectivity to all the major landmarks and tourist attractions is commendable, and all this...More

The metro was very easy to navigate, clean and affordable. As a woman, do not expect a man to offer his seat or a spot on the pole to hold on. Why do people lean on the whole pole when others need to hold on?...More

we liked very much from time to time to take the metro. My daughter was impressed with the fact that the ladies had their own cars and entrances. I like the gold sections as you are not pushed by the crowds. In Canada it is...More

Most convenient and economic mean of transportation to explore Dubai. The metro connecting buses are in the same cost of metro ticket. Wonderful development by Dubai RTA. Congratulations

Sorry I only travelled with adults. The card is so cheap that it really doesn’t matter much in my honest opinion. I bought a rechargeable one that I will use again on my next trip. The card are valid for few years at least.

I think it is better to buy a nol card if you’re staying for few days. You can top it up when credit is low.You can buy in the metro station. You can also buy a day card for travel all day.

I do not know. We had only a day pass. The ticket agents are very helpful and may be able to guide you on the best choice.
