This my first time to try to skate on ice cause I did roller skate. It was more fun on ice. We enjoy a lot seeing people who love skate and for those who didn't we meet few friends thou. I recommend this to everyone.

We need to explain that we didn't go on the ice, just watched. The rink is regularly Zambonied (the ice smoothing machine) so the condition is good all the time. We're used to rinks being used for hockey, so it was nice to see one that was only for ice skating, no organized sports seem to be in place here.... More

I took my 2 daughters for their first ever ice skating experience. It was great that we could hire stability devices (penguin & snowman) depending on the kids height, & helmets. The helmet hire came with hair nets. All of the staff we encountered from the cashier desk, to the equipment collection area & ice rink helpers were all very... More

It was our first time at the mall and after a couple hours of walking around checking it out we decided to find the ice rink to hopefully sit down and take a break. We were pleased to find a fast food place on the first floor with seating overlooking the rink. We each got a bottle of water and... More

Positives - great fun had by all. good service to book and get on the ice. Negatives - lessons very expensive. penguin hire costs for 2 kids is too much. Disappointing that it is only limited to one hour. Would go again though.

In February 2017 me and my friends came to the disco session at the Dubai Ice rink. It was the evening, around 6 o'clock. As we bought the tickets for the disco session, we expected to hear some good pop music toskate and dance to, like katy perry or taylor swift for example. but instead, we were forced to hear... The ice rink.looked good. I have done ice skating a few times before and this place looked similar and well maintained. It must be a good experience to do the ice skating here.

We booked session when the snowfalls, waste of money to pay extra, the snow was at best a bucket full. The ice is like dry ice weird, ice skating boots bit of a nightmare we had to get ours sharpened. The ring is in the middle of the mall so everybody watched from the mall, we booked online. Rink is... More

Kids are charged full price AED 80 once they are 1 metre tall, my four year old just came under by taking her shoes off, hence just AED 30. Facility... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
