Large beach with good views and restaurants

It's a very nice beach if that what you wants, and it's got some great restaurants where you can have a great view of the Burj Al Arab.

The beach is accessible by public transport. It's free, you can come there any time. White sand, blue sea, a view of Burj al Arab in distance... There is a public toilet but no changing facilities. A kiosk with cheap refreshment ( fresh fruit juices, hamburgers, pasta). Can be busy in latě afternoon.

Nice sandy beach free of charge however, I need a bed when I am chilling at the seaside and there is nothing more uncomfortable for me than a towel on the sand.

Good sandy beach with plenty of space along the length. Sections for kite flying, boogie boarding, swimming or just lounging around. Relaxed dress code too, so no concerns of offending the locals, as long as you meet western standards of decency.

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
