Nice beach.

Nice beach and good jogging track. From the nearby station we did yachting also. It was a good experience. The beach is pet friendly also. Good for pictures and for relaxation.

Walked along here whilst on our way to Salt. Sand is sand, but plenty of it and a great way to catch some rays.

We were disappointed in November when we tried to go to the highly touted Jumeirah Beach. Access to the beach was closed off due to construction. We walked forever without getting to the beach. I would recommend taking a taxi as the driver should know how to get you there. Also the hotels and resorts on the beach are not... More

Sublime and Long Beach. Beautiful sand, rest and recreation on the water with spectacular views. On the beach, we were perhaps completely alone. I suggest everyone visit. If you're in Dubai you have decided to visit this beach.

Go early morning on the week ends - remain till 19:00 which is the most pleasent time. Keep the far end if you want a more quiet spot otherwise lay down in proximity of the cinema whete vibe is stronger. Bring water from home as not very cheap and for quick bites there is Fratelli la bufala near by.

We had perfect weather for the Arabian Gulf. No waves so a lot of paddle boarding or just wading in the warm water. beaches are clean and they even have stations for wi-fi.

I come from a tropical island, so a beach doesn't really bring anything new to the table. I don't mind the high temperature, However, I find the amount of shelters lacking. Along the entire stretch of beach, there's no shelter at all. None. Only the one where the food outlet is and that's always crowded. Very few palm trees planted... More

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
