Of course it looks great from the outside - the best view we thought was from the Souk Madinat. But book a table at the Scape bar, and you have to walk through the lobby, up the lifts and out to the back where you get a better view and real close up. Pricey drinks but worth it for the... More

Stupidly we thought we could go in and have tea without booking but no and then you will not get the time you ideally wanted but fantastic.

This is a cool building to look at. I didn't go in, but there is a lot of stuff to do around it. Plan on visiting the beach or the soup that's nearby and you can kill two birds with one stone if you are pressed for time.

We have mixed feelings about the afternoon tea experience in the Skyview Bar. Is it worth the money for the food and service given that it is a 7 star hotel - in our view the answer is no. Everything is akin to a really good 5 star hotel - rightly or wrongly we expected more. However you are probably... More

Had the pleasure to visit this iconic Hotel several times for High-Tea, Lunch at Al Muntaha on the roof top with an amazing view & recently on the extended outside foyer at Scape restaurant.... All of the above experiences are one-of-a-kind & the hospitality has been outstanding... no wonder the hotel has received numerous awards... Only thing left is to... More

probably going inside this hotel is not an option for most of us, but its worth visiting a beach that has a great view of this hotel and bring home some photos

Well, I guess cheap isn't the real word...it was one expensive drink! You can NOT gain access to this property unless you are staying or dining there and that would be a very high price for either! Our concierge made a reservation for us at the Gold on 27 bar. We had access to the hotel, had one of the... More
