I was expecting this to be more interesting but it is really plain; just some small boats that can take you to the other side; I think this place could be more interesting at night

The history of Dubai was written on the banks of the Dubai Creek. Explore the souks, some ethnic architecture, and a traditional boat ride for just one Dirham. And when you’re feeling hungry, get some traditional seafood.

The views are very different on either side - the old versus the new. Ferry ride is only 1 Dirham! It's near the gold souk in Bur Dubai.

Whether walking along the creek or taking a raft across from the textile Souk to the spice Souk, there’s much to see on this inlet, away from the larger, more populated Persian Gulf Coast.

Architecture was lovely, fountains were choreographed to music. Gives a different view of Burj Al Khalifa.

The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the
air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders
call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the
place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to
uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really
began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one
of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily
recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original
