Described as both a ‘Vertical City’ and ‘A Living Wonder,’ Burj Khalifa, developed by Dubai-based Emaar Properties PJSC, is the world’s tallest building. Rising gracefully from the desert, Burj Khalifa honours the city with its extraordinary union of art, engineering and meticulous craftsmanship. At 828 metres (2,716.5 ft), the 200 plus storey Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building in the world. The tower was inaugurated on January 4, 2010, and is responsible for a number of world-firsts. The tower became the world’s tallest man-made structure just 1,325 days after excavation work started in January 2004. Burj Khalifa utilised a record-breaking 330,000 cubic metres of concrete; 39,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement; 103,000 square metres of glass; and 15,500 square metres of embossed stainless steel. The tower took 22 million man hours to build.

It was lovely to go 124 floors, however I thought in comparison with other high buildings it was far too expensive. I do realise that this is the highest building in the world and it took over 2 hours and we did not sue.

To the top of the world, 184 m high, to see the sunset, give you a lot of interesting emotions. See the Dubai Fountains from the sky is a special moment.

This is a must when in Dubai. The Burj is a fantastic building, with views to die for at the top. It takes about 1 minute to get to the top in a very good lift.

We visited floors 148, 125 and 124, the 360 degree view was amazing. The visit was managed extremely efficiently by the hostesses. Were served sweets, juices and coffee on the 148th floor. The view of Burj Khalifa at night with flashing blue lights that are...More

Would recommend going to see it at night as well, you can see the fountains at the same time, its covered in little stars that twinkle and is absolutely stunning. Purchase tickets beforehand for going up the tower, view is fab.
