We recently visited Mamiya Jewelers at the Gold and Diamond park in Dubai. My wife wanted a ring for herself and my daughter as well as earrings for another family member. Bhavin showed us excellent service and patience while we discussed my wife's requirements and then set about making and adjusting the bespoke jewellery my wife had selected. A second... More

Joy and Hari were amazingly kind, patient and helpful. Joy transported us to the jewellers, did not try to sell us any items but just said once you have finished shopping i will take you back to your hotel. My friends and i brought items from the store, they were reasonably priced and presented in a beautiful box. I would... More

The best and trustworthy jeweller I can recommend. On visiting Abu Dhabi, he will collect anything needing updating or modifying and then deliver back to your hotel. He came recommended by many friends who have had beautiful jewellery made, very reasonably priced for very high quality. I now go back to him every time I visit, either to buy something... More

My mum had her diamond ring reset. Originally, the setting was bulky and not feminine, but Bhavin took a look at it, said trust me, and within 4 days had completely transformed the ring into a gorgeous setting. I have now asked Bhavin to make two of my rings into one ring but a setting that I can wear everyday.... More

I was in contact with Kelly in Mamiya diamonds for a few weeks prior to my visit in Dubai. I went through a few options I'd seen online on they're website which is very good and has a wide range of options. I had advised Kelly that I'd be in the country for few days and she organised a driver... More

Bhavin and his team were fantastic as they helped me and my wife choose the perfect product we were looking for. He took his time to carefully select items that suited our budget and was very competitive on price. Very hospitable and easily approachable. Will be using them again. This is my second purchase from these guys and you've now... More

We both went to the gold and diamond park not knowing what to expect. However after a quick look round we got speaking to Kalpesh from Mamiya Jewelers. He was friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. I picked a stone and parts of different rings that I liked and Kalppesh said they would make it and it would be ready... More

Of bling, located within the diamond and gold park which has litteraly a hundred shops under one roof, you would think they are all the same, however they are all so competitive offering different designs and amazing service, no one is overly pushy offering a beverage whilst having a try on.

So I came to Dubai in August to look for an engagement ring in the gold souk area. I had walked into this shop and many others and in fact, thought I was going to purchase elsewhere but the gentleman named Amit assured me he could give me the best deal. After many conversations in many stores, I found myself... More

Staying in The Creek

Neighbourhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
