Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was suprised that is poor quality od service on the beach, must change clothes at toilet. Not too good to spend time.

The Secret Beach is too beautiful to be a secret! (it's not but it gets its name because the entrance is a bit hidden and it's tucked away from the main streets). It's my peaceful retreat to indulge in a good book. Although it has a lively ambiance, It's not too crowded which allows for uninterrupted relaxation. It's the perfect balance, much needed after a busy week.

Sufouh Beach is a car park with a little bit of beach in front. People sitting in their cars running the air con to keep cool. There is nothing natural there. You are prevented from going more than 50 metres from the edge as the water is cordoned off.
I'm told it was once a nice small secluded beach. Sadly that time seems to have passed.

I have lived in Dubai for a while since 2010. Then I took a year out in 2019 and returned in 2020.
In the old days it was a secret beach that no one knew about. It was very quiet, idyllic, basic and no facilities. We loved it there taking all our beach gear, great view of the Burg Al Arab and spending 3 odd hours relaxing.
Went there last week before the corona virus lockdown. OMG was I shocked at what has happened to the hidden gem!!
Literally it looks like a refugee camp. So many caravans and motor homes right across the back part of the beaches. It looks and feels horrible there now.
They were also adding a kiosk by the entrance - which could mean that it could be an entrance fee might be charged in the future or strict controls for the caravans? If they start charging they would need a minimum of some toilets, changing rooms and a little shop?
Despite the eye sore for the beach I still think we would probably still go there for the time being as we have a lot of fond memories.
I am sorry about the rating - it used to be 5 but I cannot unsee the caravans and a refugee camp feel to it. If you face the sea you cannot see the mess!!

Pokud už máte dost lidí, vydejte se na Al Sufouh beach. My ji měly kousek od hotelu a chodily jsme pěšky.

If you want a rest from busy Dubai, Al Sufouh beach got you. We were staying close enough to walk there. By bus it will take few minutes, but it is totally worthed. There is another beach right at the end of this one, where there was nobody. On the other hand, there are no bars, restaurant, toilets..but at the end it is a good thing, because otherwise, the beach would lost everything that makes it unique.

This beach is an amazing gem of a beach! Mostly frequented by expats living in Dubai as it’s not sign posted or easily found. There are no facilities on the beach so you absolutely need to take all what you need with you for your visit. No toilets or food places which is why I think tourists stay away. Accessible only by car down a sandy road, there is plenty of free car parking spaces. A great find and must for expats to go to to get away from the crowds.

This beach is mostly used by expats living in Dubai. You ideally need a car to reach it although I have seen a few people walking from the bus or tram in cooler months. It’s a little bit tucked away and harder to find than other beaches in the city so it’s not frequented by the crowds of tourists that you see at JBR which is why we love it. There are no facilities (restaurants, toilets etc) so you will need to bring whatever you need with you. There’s usually a few groups playing volleyball. The gentle slope into the water that stays shallow for quite a way out makes it good for families with little ones that like to play in the sand. View to the left is of the palm and to the right is the Burj al Arab.

If you search "secret beach in Dubai" you will see Al Sufouh beach in the results. As the name says its one of the least crowded and peaceful beaches in Dubai. Mostly families are entertained at this place in my knowledge. There's secret police checking also..
If you want to have a beach bath with family free of cost, you can prefer this beach.

Very beautiful and not to crowded . Definately a hidden gem . Carry your own water to drink as it has no food trucks . If you have kids go with everything you need as it’s pretty away from supermarkets and all . If you are looking for a beach with less tourists this is the place . Somewhere you can go relax and tan for you tanning lovers.
