Let's be clear, it's a graveyard. That being said, it gives insight into the culture and how the people respect those that have passed. It is CRAZY busy the end of Sep, beginning of Oct for All Saints Day. The whole area is blockaded off...More

Unless you're really into cemeteries I wouldn't bother, there are some beautiful cemeteries in South America and this isn't one.

Once you find the new enterance the Cemetery is really worth seeing. From small catacombs ro huge ornate tombs. Is always busy but obviously is quiet. Highly recomend

Interesting place when you manage to get in. What looks like the entrance is an exit only (the entrance is the small gate around to the left). I also closes for lunch. Nice to walk in.

The cleanest place we visited in Bolivia. Seriously. And it's interesting to see the mausoleums. People from Bolivia go there for coffee, chats, and to read a book. It's beautiful and definitely something to check out.

This is an amazing place (as many cemetaries in Southamerica), the aerial view from the teleferico resembles a factory, but there is a lot of beauty, nature and peace once inside the walls. The dead are stapled in urnes, five on top of each other...More
