Probably one of the best viewpoints above Sucre but slowly and surely being ruined by high rise buildings encroaching on the skyline. The view in the opposite direction is of the La Recoletta Church and museum (rarely open, I have never managed to visit yet)....More

Go to see to sunset! 15 min walking from the center. And you see all the city from the top. There is nice place to drink beer or eating some snacks

We walked up to La Recoleta to watch the sunset and it was beautiful, there is a lovely cafe to sit and have a glass of wine just off the square. Not to be missed.

Small, quiet place with some limited souvenir shopping and restaurants. Not bad for a couple of hours to see the city view and a short hike.

The views from here are beautiful and it is in a safe area to walk to even at night. Sitting and either watching over the city or watching the kids play on the plaza is a great way to relax.

It's quite a hike up the very steep hill but it's definitely worth it in the end. Plenty of cafes and local markets too. But it's the views. Spectacular!

Walking up the very steep hill, past all the houses painted white and looking back at the view was pretty neat. The Recoleta offers wonderful views of Sucre, is an incredibly clean square with impressive arches, some craft stalls and has a restaurant over looking...More
