On one side there is Plaza 25 de Mayo in plants in one garden. There is also a dinosaur(?) topiary behind it where its eyes light up red at night. The fountain in the center has two incredible looking lions at the base. One exit has a list of historic events that make Sucre special. The gardens are beautifully planned... More

It's well kept and always has people in it, you can't avoid it if you're in Sucre and it's close to a lot of other tourist attractions.

Many people go there at night. Its vibrating and you see many locals just hanging around and enjoying their freetime. Definitely worth a visit in Sucre.

Nice square to take a stroll or just seat on a bench, relax and observe the locals. Has some nice water fountains and two beautiful bronze lions that were originally on the grounds of La Glorieta Castle.

The main plaza in Sucre. A good base to explore the rest of this beautiful town. Casa de la libertad is also located by the plaza.

This great square with statuas right in the citycenter is a lovely place to relax and watch people. Children follow the pigeons. Nice place to sit and have a few minuten doing nothing.

1. SPANISH COURSE - Fenix school is the best. Place where you can meet other travellers and do activities together. The best language education in my life. 2. EAT FRESH FISH - mercado san antonio. You have to look for the place where the "pescado a la parrilla" sels a man wearing a hat (I guess his restaurant is called... More

One of the things I love about South America is how well utilised the parques are utilised by the locals. It's great people watching here and the gardens are so well maintained. We've enjoyed this patch of nature a number of times during our stay. It really comes alive in the evening.

The plaza is super nice, traffic around it is a bit chaotic, and there is a ton of beggars around, the place in general seems pretty safe, and it's very nice to seat in the benches, it is missing a bit of trash cans around...

This plaza is nice but has nothing special. Moreover a lot of people jump on tourist because they want money. It is good to see it but I did not enjoy staying there for a long time.
