canoe trip

Wonderful river to canoe. Very clean and a relaxing way to spend the day. Make sure that we do it at least once every year.

This is a beautiful park. We had a nice picnic here. However, I was disappointed that there is really no trail to walk, especially for the $7 entry fee. It is very scenic and it would be great for those who want to canoe or kayak.

I have been in other 6 metro parks, this smallest. This is not reasonable to pay $7.00 to get in. It has a clean restroom, picnic shade, Couple BBQ grill. Lazy Huron river flow thru the park is the only attraction. One center kids play zone - nothing special, two other swing for kids. That's it.

I live within walking distance of Delhi Park so perhaps I don't appreciate it as I should. Of the metro parks, it is small. There is a canoe livery, though, and room for little ones to run around. There are grills for picnicking. As a destination to use for walking or jogging, it is too small, however. There are midest... More

Delhi Metropark is about a 5 mile drive northwest of Ann Arbor. Its location at the Huron River is very picturesque. It is a popular spot to rent canoes and kayaks.

There is a river running around the park, nice picnic tables and shelters. Flush toilets. They were nice & clean. We've benn here for picnics and during the week I have been known to let the dog run (against the rules for sure)

This quiet 53 acre oak filled metro park is located just 5 miles northwest of Ann Arbor. It is a popular fishing destination. The Huron River is a Blue Bibbon Small Mouth Bass river. This stretch is great for adult supervised kids fishing....There are plenty of fish. If you are not into fishing, enjoy long strolls, picknicking, grilling, playgrounds, or... More

Good place to take the family for a picnic. There is a small playground suitable for small children. There is a baseball diamond, somewhat kept up, for use if you have a group gathering. There is 1-2 shelters with picnic tables in case of inclement weather. The Huron River runs right next to the park, people often fish for large... More

If you live in the vicinity and need to but can't get away for a weekend, take a 15 minute drive to Delhi for some real down-time. This is a perfect location that's clean, pretty, friendly and offers the opportunity to snooze away a few hours, people watch, or tickle your toes in the water. Given it's proximity to home... More

Delhi has always been a comfortable place to sit and have a barbeque but not their rails to trails walking/riding path is great. We've walked it and can't wait to bike it. Lovely to wak through fields and treed areas.
