I love bringing my kids here every year for the fireworks. They also have great family friendly events all year long. Great walking trails are fun to burn off that toddler energy. We com here at least once a month all year round.

We wanted to hike with some nice shade. Our weather was beautiful! The only down side was the narrowness of some trails with some rapidly moving bicycles coming toward us. Some bicyclers did not announce themselves, just nearly ran us over. Lots of poison ivy!...More

We park in the park and bike the trails. We can go all the way to dexter, get some refreshments and go back. About 15 miles round trip. Here is a tip. Park in dexter for free, bike into the park, then return. Save $10!!!

Great paved walking/biking path that travels along the Huron river and through the woods. Volleyball courts, a basketball court, playgrounds and cross country skiing in the winter. There are baseball diamonds and soccer fields too. So many fond memories created at this park.

This is a place for walking in solitude in the woods, or on the paved hiking and biking trails. Many folks have dogs. It's also a place to drop your kayak in the Huron River for a 3 hour paddle down to another Metropark. Great...More
