Ann Arbor has a lot to offer but Main Street and the surrounding streets are where most of the great restaurants and cool shops are found. It's more of a district rather than a stretch of road.

One thing that makes "The" University of Michigan unique is that it is a chip shot from downtown Ann Arbor -- Main Street. 6 blocks from the heart of U-M campus. Main Street is lots of hustle bustle with many food options, stores and walking...More

Main Street is a nice street of shops and restaurants located in down town Ann Arbor. This is somewhat similar to a European town and walking do there makes for a nice walk. The shops and restaurants are certainly more on the expensive side but...More

It's a cute downtown to walk around and check out the little shops and restaurants. We were there during a car show (old muscle cars and early model cars).

Just a real neat area to stroll around. Neat stores and cafes. Don't drive there. Too much traffic. Plus it is better to feel the atmosphere by walking.

We went to the address listed on this recommendation—906 N Main—and there was nothing there. After driving around, we believe the right place is around the 200 to 300 block. We didn’t stop, just drove past. Please be advised.

Ann Arbor has one of the nicest downtowns in the state. The main street has lots of attractive shops and restaurants, with restored historic buildings and a human scale. In the summer, it's a very pleasant experience to walk around and has many cafes with...More
