This small museum was full of surprising finds. The visitor has to open drawers to see all the artifacts, but to me that added to the delight of the space.

The Kelsey Museum is an accessible, educational and beautiful museum. During my most recent visit, a helpful docent was circulating answering all questions about the museum, its pieces and the exhibits. Be sure to open the exhibit drawers for insight into the collection.

There are very few good archaeology museums in the US, and this is one of them! The museum has been very innovative with technology and reconstructions, like that of the room of the mysteries and the Roman Baths. Definitely worth a visit in Ann Arbor
