We loved Carhenge. It was directly on the way, making the perfect pitstop as we continued on our road trip north. The grounds were very nice, and fun for pictures and laughs! Interesting how the guy just decided to make this one day after visiting Stonehenge. Must do if you are anywhere near the area and like quirky roadside attractions!

Just a few miles from the small town of Alliance Nebraska is this man made display modelled on the famous Stonehenge and not unlike another car display The Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo Texas. A commentary about the exhibit can be listened to (you have to crank the handle to generate power to start) and then take a walk around the... More

There's really not much to say about this attraction that isn't evident in its name. It's an artistic interpretation of Stonehenge using cars. It's super cool and a fun stop on any road trip.

Kind of a strange place. Don't understand why anyone would put cars like that but I guess the guy who did it had his reasons. It's not bad just strange. Worth looking at if you like cars.

Carhenge is truly a first class roadside attraction. A definite must for all car lovers. Easy to find by the County Rd 59.

Carhenge is a whimsical look at the original Stonehenge in the UK. The cars (stones) are arranged in a circle 94-feet in diameter, the same as the original. However, there is little reverence for this monument. The wind-up story is about five minutes long and gives a tongue in cheek presentation of the history of this edifice. The full walk-around... Personally I liked the way it looked before they painted it all grey. Still and interesting site to see and discover.

I have been aware of this place for a long time but this was my first time in the area so I had to stop. We are traveling in an RV so places like this are a great way to break up the day, see something unique and get some exercise. The sculptures were interesting, the background info was also... More

The concept behind this little stop is creative and well executed, but, I probably won't swing it again. Bring a marker to add your name to the graffiti car if you can find a spot. Cute place for pictures on a family vacation. The gift shop is simple when open and has a penny machine. Penny machine moves into the... More

We thought they did a wonderful job with this attraction. The place re-creates Stonehenge by using materials available in the United States, cars. It was fairly impressive and a good way to spend a bit of time.
