Went hiking here in May did about 8 miles. It was so peaceful and quiet. Really big state park and lots of trails to hike on.

I visited this park in the winter, however I learned at their site that the park is pet friendly with restrictions. Be safe.

Although I was there in the winter, the bathrooms were open at that time, so I am thinking that you should be in the clear in May. Have fun!
