Pre Rub is really beautifull right before sunset, it is then that it captures the light in a fairytale like way. Enjoy this moment!

Unfortunately, there was some low cloud which prevented us seeing the sun until a few minutes after sunrise but seeing the dark stone transform to its red colour was worth the early start. Our guide Rithy was very informative and explained the history the temple...More

Located just south of the eastern reservoir, this temple is worth exploring, especially with all its towers rising up into the sky in the background to the main courtyards and wall, predominantly made of laterite. From the carpark area, it's flat dirt access to the...More

Another good temple, we went in the morning and was still hot. Be ready for a climb up also. Not my favourite temple but with a guide you can stay as long or short of a period as you like. This was the first stop...More

Seems like this place should be more popular. It was one of the better temples I visited. The size makes it fun to explore.

This was a little challenging the day we did it as it was drizzling on and off. They let us climb up after waiting in line. It was a wonderful view! I definitely would not skip out on this.

I was only in Siem Reap for 2 days so had to try and squeeze in as much as possible. This was recommended as a second option to watch sunset and it did not disappoint. Only thing to warn about is the steps are steep....More

Built on 961 AD, and through the use of bricks, laterite and sandstone, this temple is famously known as Mountain temple. As you reach to the top, you will feel relaxed and get swayed by the cool breezeing winds. From the top itself, you will...More

A lesser known temple open at 5am. Our hotel owner and tuktuk driver didn't believe us but it's on the back of the ticket and on the sign at the entrance. We were one of only 3 couples enjoying the sunrise from this eastern facing...More

Probably around 30-40 steps at a guess. Steep stone steps at the front, but less steep wooden steps with handrail around the back for an easier climb
