This is the entrance to Angkor Thom and is worth visiting to cross the bridge and see the two rows of statues as you cross which depict the battle between good and evil as they pull on Naga the snake

Second time in 6 years and the best gate for taking pictures. Ask your driver to drop you off before the gate and then walk through for some amazing pictures

The south gate is the most impressive of the 5 entrance gates to Angkor Thom. A grand boulevard of statues welcoming you to the massive site. If you have the time, try to visit each of the other gates, including the Gate of the Dead....More

Stone figures line the bridge leading to the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom. Driving or walking past them is a MUST DO if you are near Siem Reap.
