This is one place in Siem Reap where I could learn about the various regions of Cambodia in just few hours with its models of various architectures, museum, miniatures, crafts and live performances.....it was a learning experience for me....................unfortunately I was looking for some typical Khmer food for sale in the canteens but found none

I do not recommend going until after 2:30pm. That's when the performances starts. Once the shows have started it was a beautiful show all round. My partner & I made the mistake of going at 11am and it was like a ghost town as restaurant was not even opened. So after 2:30pm we were over it by that point. Defiantly... More

Our first place to visit after lunch on the day of our arrival. Visiting the wax musuem was cool as you learn some history bout cambodians. Entering into the village one this clear was that english was very less used thus we did not understand what was narrated thus we cant really enjoy the shows and performances. The chinese village... The cultural village was nice with a variety of performances of the various ethnic groups in Cambodia. They have different buildings of the various ethnic groups in Cambodia. The performances were average as there were no English translations. The best performance I watched there was the last performance of the day- The greatest King Jayavarman 7 which is only held... Was a disappointment. Overpriced given the quality of attractions. Some shows are decent with local actors trying their best. They deserve credit. However the place needs better administration and a major facelift.

We planned the cultural visit in our tour to give a short sharp overview of the country & people before setting off into the Angkor area etc, & as background information. Reading its own web description, we hoped for: 'CCV assembles all the miniatures of famous historical buildings and structures, local customs and practices of all races. There are 13... More

Better than the Siam Reap museum or apsara dancing at Koulen but prepared for a lot of walking in the heat. They have internal cars but they are not free and a complete rip off as they only transport you one way and not round trip back to reception. The shows are throughout the course of the day so checkout... More

Fantastic place to visit. Museum and living villages all in one. At $15 pp great value. We were lucky to visit during Chinese New Year so watched a great show on this. You usually get 5 live performances from very talented people. Go about 2.30pm as the last show runs 7 to 8 pm. Warning the only western style toilet... More

The entrance ticket is 15$ pp, and a complete waste of money, nearly everything was shut apart from a couple of thing's, which meant that there wasn't enough seating when large tour groups come. It would have been interesting if demonstration or activities where on but for 15$ for 2 things in 5 hour's, save your money
