About
Some may find it over-powering, but if you're looking for where everybody is, then Pub Street it is. Lined with restaurants and bars selling cheap beer and reasonable food. Later on, the music starts thumping and there's often almost a party atmosphere. People watching is free.

    It is what it is
It is what it is, a touristy, hot, loud, busy street with bright lights and lots of people. As we were staying in town, it was obviously a to-do. It was fun just to walk the area and take it all in, which literally takes like 5-10mins. Restaurants and bars here are much more expensive than just a street away but you are paying for being in pub street really.

    Expensive
I was told Cambodia would be cheap but it really isn’t if you go places like this. $8-10 for a main meal and around $2-3 for a soft drink. The food is average and it is a tourist trap. It did feel safer than other areas and they speak English.

Pub street from a Aussie 🇦🇺
Such a beautiful and cheap place to eat in the whole world. $3 cocktails happy hour is 2 for 1. The place get even more exciting around 10pm if you can stay out that late the music pumps and the people come.

Did not like very much, prefer other places
Really went to Pub street during the day because I was looking for the market. There are lots of pubs and bars, many lights and color....too much for me🙃. I did not liked very much the place because it is close to 2 hospitals and you can see people on the streets waiting to be attended, and homeless. Really think there are better places to go in Chiang Mai as nice restaurants or even the night market near the old wall.

Not Caesar Salad as the rest of the world
The pork ribs and chicken skewers were great as usual but the caesar salad with chicken was awful. A plate of lettuce leaves, half a hard boiled egg and a piece of tomato and grilled chicken added. Mentioned to the wait staff who did not care. That's how it comes so take it or leave it. The price was US$5.95 plus extra for the chicken.

    Coolest and Vibrant place
One of the coolest places in Siam Reap. Pandora of Bars and Restaurants within 100 metres. Vibrant place, lots of colours, lighting. Value for money. Few Indian restaurants near this place like Dakshin and Travancore.

Great vibe for families in the early evening.
Pub Street is a really happening place in the evenings. They close the street off to traffic so you can wander around safely with children. The neon lights and street performers are great to see. We have 3 high-school aged kids and they loved eating along Pub Street as there were Cambodian and Western food options. The food was delicious and service was excellent at the two places we ate at. My only issue is that it is obviously geared towards tourists so the prices are quite expensive. Everything is in USD and for our family, we were spending slightly more on the meals at Pub Street than we would be at home in Australia. Other restaurants outside of Pub Street are much more affordable so we ate elsewhere on other nights to save some money!

Definite to-do in Siem Reap nightlife!
Such a vibe! Go a bit later in the evening for an energizing night of pulsing dance music, people-watching, street food, bars, restaurants & shopping! Easy to get tuk-tuk transportation. During the day, this area is full of markets, including tourist items, jewelry and food/produce markets.

    Lively atmospheric street
Main tourist hub in the centre of Siam reap, with lots of bars and restaurants. Well illuminated at night, with a good atmosphere, but dosen't feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Bar prices are very reasonable , you can get a beer for $1 or less, and a variety of khmer and more western restaurants are available

    Fun vibes
Worth going here for the atmosphere on at least one night of a stay in Siem Reap (what else is there to do?) and of course it is loud, noisy, touristy but there's fun vibes and energy, it's well lit up and feels safe. Venture a bit off the main strip for better restaurants.

Pub Street is open during the day, but really comes to life after dark. Live and "canned" music, along with overhead decorative lighting, add to the festive feel of Pub Street.
There are restaurants of all kinds -- Italian, Greek, Indian were some that we tried. We repeatedly enjoyed the one-dollar "milkshakes" (more like smoothies). The fried ice cream rolls were yummy too.
Some of us tried out the tanks with the little fish that nibble at the dead skin on your feet. It is crazy ticklish!
Several of us enjoyed relaxing and chatting while getting massages. One got a full massage, most got foot massages. I enjoyed foot, hand and head massage. And one friend even got a pedicure at the same time!
It's hard not to get tempted by some of the many little souvenirs or clothing in the night market.
I'd definitely recommend Pub Street at least once during your stay in Siem Reap.

Popping down for meals at night while I’ve been in Siem Reap, I don’t think I’ve seen it have a quiet night... for New Years Eve, Pub St really put on a lively atmosphere with stage set up and pumping music.
There were so many more people there it was overwhelming. Personally I’m not into en masse events but it was an experience I won’t forget.
Despite Pub St being a touristy area, the whole show with hosts conducted the night in native tongue which was great to amongst.

There’s definitely plenty of choices for restaurants and massages, as well as giftware.. take your time do a wander.
Tuk tuks are everywhere so getting to and from
isn’t too difficult and a cheap way to get around.
NYE traffic however was crazy busy and there a price hike for that tuk tuk ride.

Pub Street is a popular tourist spot in the heart of Siem Reap. Think Khao San Road in Bangkok, Bui Vien Street in HCMC or Lan Kwai Fong district in Hong Kong and this is what you will find at Pub Street in Siem Reap.

This is a short street, perhaps just 60-80 metres in length, yet lined with bars offering up cheap draught beer and cocktails, music, karake and hangout spots for foreign travellers looking for a place to meet up, chat and enjoy a round or two. Many of the places offer up meals including local Khmer and western food. You'll find a couple cooking school opportunities here as well.

We visited Pub Street a couple times during our recent visit to Siem Reap. Had a round at Paper Tiger Bar and Restaurant that was fine. Enjoyed better drinks and a surprisingly good meal at The Kitchen 2002.

Beyond Pub Street, there are cheap eats places, some better restaurants, more bars, fruit stands, spa and massage places and quite a bit of souvenir shopping in the surrounding streets as well.

Absolute chaos here! So much going on I don’t know where to start haha. A mixture of chart music playing in different bars offering pints at 0.25p happy hour and 0.50p normal hours!! What the.... it’s safe to say we got extremely drunk paying these prices and ladies happy hour makes margaritas £1.00!! Very dangerous!
A selection of western foods too and Khmer restaurants. Be aware of Temple Bar, they will drown out any music in any other bar, when you go you will know!

Pub Street is most definitely not going to suit everyone, especially at night, when it gets busy and loud. My wife and I visited in the afternoon and enjoyed touring the various bars to see what was on offer, and found some places with really low prices.

We are both in our 60s, yet quite enjoyed the atmosphere at night, but left before it became really raucous. However, the main reason we left was not to avoid the noise and large crowds, but because we had an early rise to go and visit Angkor Wat for the sunrise.

I'd definitely recommend a visit, but would suggest going in the afternoon to have a better look around in the daylight and get your bearings before returning after dark.

Our first experience on Pub Street was quite tranquil during late afternoon when we stopped for refreshments. Our following early evening visit proved quite lively when the crowds arrived and entertainment kicked into overdrive. I can only imagine the late night energy emanating from Siem Reap's most popular street where the action is. Lined with restaurants and bars with various themes, Pub Street offers quite a selection. Overhead exterior colorful lights add to the festive atmosphere and a banner reading "Pub Street" leaves no doubt you have arrived. Enjoy!

This is a really lively area (it's not one street but an area full of restaurants and shops)
We ate there each night of our 4 nights stay at different restaurants every night. The food was excellent. I only gave it 4 stars because some of the restaurants play music so loudly that even if you are 50 yards away in a different restaurant you cannot have a conversation with the person next to you.

I've been to a handful of the bars on pub street over the past 2 1/2 months. Most of the bars do have 50c 25cl (I think) draft local lager. Some of the bars do add a 10% service charge which still only brings it upto 55c. I think when the sun goes down they block off the area to traffic.
The last time I went there was about 2 weeks ago, just before the corona virus craziness started. I've been reading on Facebook that only about 3 bars are still open. Apartently it's so quit, it's easy to keeo your distance. I can't honestly recommend coming here until thise pandemic is over

Pub street is the main street in Siem Reap with all the bars and nightlife. It’s a cool place with lots of bars, markets, street food and restaurants. The music is pumping and the beer is flowing. Only downside is all the tuk tuk drivers trying to take you home as soon as you leave a restaurant or walk down the street. It gets a bit irritating in the end, they should give you a bit more space!

Seemed like the only place tourist hang out. It was very loud with music mixing from 4 different places at once. For those wanting to people watch or party seems like the place. Walk a block or few away and you can find wonderful more authentic food in a quite setting.
