These are good representations of other work the Khmer did. It's obviously not representative of their zenith, but the figures are nice and the buildings (though falling apart) are quite nice. It's off the main path, so it's less crowded. We could stroll through a bit more relaxed.

Krol Ko ( the oxen park ) is a small Buddhist temple with a single central tower surrounded by two laterite walls , dating back from the 12th century. It was originally built as a Buddhist temple by King Jayavarman VII in the style of Bayon. The main interest to see at Krol Ko are the pediments on the ground Also two restaurated triangular pediment , a bodhisattva Avalokitesvara standing on a lotus flanked by devotees and a strongly modeled scene of Krsna lifting Mount Govardhana to shelter the shepherds. Krol Ko is located on the road from Preah Kahn to Ta Som. The temple is located on the left, 100 meters after Neak Pean, which is located on the right. Small gem , untouristed, offering a peaceful respite .To do if you have time
