Great place to stroll around, especially in the afternoon, and heaps of shops, restaurants, people selling seemingly everything, live music, and some bars down one of the side streets.

Spent some time strolling along Paseo 21 de Mayo. It’s wall to wall shops and stalls selling everything imaginable. There was a really good musical puppet show on when we visited. I guess you can’t visit Arica without visiting here.

Nice to stroll around the streets without cars, and look at all the little stalls selling cheap trinkets and souveniors!

This is the main street in Arica which is only for pedestrians (no cars) and has all the store, food and anything else you need with amazing prices. Great for shopping, taking a walk after diner or just something to do during the day. The...More

Go out the main gate of terminal, go across the street to where the fish vendors are and curve right up the hill. It's all foot traffic. Once you get to McDonald's take a left (if you're more daring) and go 1/2 block and... More
