This is a nice place to practice hiking with friends or family, there are some routes with different difficulties. You need to take your own food and drinks. You can have a great view of the Straight of Magellan from the hill

No entrance fee--but very helpful park rangers who got us to the pathway and gave us a map. The hike was... More

This is a very good place to do some light to moderate trekking while in Punta Arenas. The park is near town (you can reach it by car, a short taxi drive or bike, if you can manage a strong up-slope on the way to the park made up for by a downhill on the way back to town). Most... More

This is the main fresh water source for Punta Arenas. The beautiful landscape give birth to a wide range of vegetation such as the forest with the northofagus family. The reservation has picnic and camping areas with sheds, toilets and showers with hot water. There are over 37 mi of paths. The reservation has also information centre.
